I’ve added three more chapters to my novel-in-progress. You can read them by clicking HERE.
Chapter Seven gives us columnist Jerry Burke’s cynical reaction to a memo from the Calgary Herald’s managing editor outlining the technological and other changes in store for the newspaper. Chapter Eight takes us back to 1847, when Jeremiah Burke and his wife Nell set sail aboard the emigrant ship that will take them to Canada. Chapter Nine brings us to Dawson City in 1967, where Jerry meets the love of his life.
I continue to revisit and revise the earlier chapters while adding these new chapters to the book. If you’ve been tracking the changes and can see where I might make even more improvements, I would appreciate hearing from you. I don’t know how long it will take me to finish this novel but I’m savouring the creative process.
